Weekly Announcements 12/18/2017

General Announcements:

Italy Trip Deposits and contracts were due this past Friday, 12/15/17.

○ If you missed the deadline, it is not too late ‐‐ we are able to continue accepting deposits and add travelers. Please contact Mr. Toepfer or Chris Clevenger (Trip Chairperson), ccjayhawk@yahoo.com to make arrangements Trip fundraisers, Candy Cane Grams & Parents’ Night Out Report (from Chris Clevenger):

○  Great job Lancers on 2 successful fundraisers. The Candy Cane Grams went over really well by both students and staff. Thanks to all the kids who manned the table to sell them, those that sorted them and those that delivered them. It was a lot of work but worth it. We learned what worked and what we can change next time.

○  Parents Night Out was a huge success! We had 45 kids join us and 5 music lessons. The kids I talked to gave it a 10 out of 10! We had so many parents ask for us to do this every month because their kids had so much fun. We politely declined but promised we would do it again and for them to tell their friends. Thanks to all of the kids who volunteered, you guys did a great job. Thanks to the adults who volunteered as well couldn’t have done it without you and finally to those that donated snacks, they were a huge hit. Between the 2 fundraisers we raised about $1000 so stay tuned for more fundraisers!
